The above trek can be done also when we drive from Delhi- Chandigarh- Manali- Darcha- Dakbanjan- Ramjak- Lakong- Kargiakh- Purne- Teesta- Mune- Bardun- Padam. Then drive to Leh and fly out to Delhi.There is one more option to do the longer trek for further 11 days and come out in Lamayuru.
Drive Through Kargil to reach Padum, the headquater of Zanskar Valley and begin your trek You follow Tsarap Lingti river all the way upto Lakongo below Shingo La. Here you come across a totally different cultural environment Buddhist Chortens, Mani Walls, Prayer Wheels and flags being common. From Lakong it is a long climb to the top of Shingo La crossoing snow and rivers. At the top of the pass there is a huge rock 'Mani' with fluttering prayer flags and white stones which are offered by the local people to the Goddess of the pass. You now descend to the other side of the pass over a glacier and enter into the Lahoul area of Himachal Pradesh and finish trekking at Dharcha. Next day drive to Manali which is a beautiful hill resort full of fruit orchards and flowers and then drive from Manali for Kulu before taking flight to Delhi. |

Markha Valley Trek |

This adventure trek begins after crossing the bridge on the Indus river below the Spituk monastery and is a route involving high altitude trekking through very arid areas. After crossing through the valleys of the Markha and Nimaling and crossing the Ganda La and Kougmar La, you end your trek at Hemis and drive back to Leh. From Leh we drive to Manali over the high passes like Tag Lang La Lachungla, Baralacha La and Rohtang.

Rupshu till recently restricted starts with a bus ride up to Brandy Nallah through the lowlands of India via Manali, valley of Gods of Hindu sect. The trek goes through the breath taking gorges and passes of Rohtang to Buddhist Lahul valley over Baralacha-La, Yar-La, Nimaling etc. We get a close contact with the Tibetan Kayangs and water birds too. The trip will end at Hemis in Ladakh driving through the Indus Valley of Buddhist Monasteries. The trip needs an excellent physical condition. |

This itinerary is of moderate difficulty and the path does not rise above 4500m. The trail crosses numerous villages where the people have kept their Tibetan ways and customs. |

East of Ladakh, sandwiched between the Leh to Manali highway and the Tibetan Border is a remarkable high plateau known as Changthang which is inhabited by the nomadic sheperds. This trek can be done to the Changthang valley from south of Parang-La (5400mts), since it was recently opened to foreigners. The trek starts from Spiti Valley on old trade route which goes north towards Tibet. We reach to famous high altitude blue lake of Tsomoriri surrounded by fascinating unnamed snowy peaks. Sighting of rare species of water birds and Kayangs near and around the inhabited village of Karzok adds to the panorama. Further drive to Leh and then fly back to Delhi.

The trek is through thick forest of pine, oak and various varieties of Himalayan flora. The Har Ki Doon valley is a terraced mountain field of the world of flowers and is located at the base of a peak called the Fateh Parbat. The surroundings are thickly populated by colorful bird and unique Himalayan Wild Life.

This trek starts in the heart of Garhwal, a day's drive from Dehradun. At Chirpatya on the ridge separating the Mandakini River Valley from the Bhillangna River (both tributaries of the Ganges). The route follows the ridge, providing spectacular views of the Garhwal Himalaya from Mt. Kedarnath dome to Mt. Trishul, reaching the high altitude 'Bugyals' (meadows) of Panwali which are grazed seasonally by spheherds and their blocks. |

The drive from Delhi to Rishikesh is delightful through rural india, past green fields and orchards visiting Haridwar enroute, one of the holiest towns of india. Rishikesh onwards, the drive is on a hilly road along river Bhagirathi (name of the river befoe named Ganges).
The trek is on a gradually ascending bridle path upto Gaumukh (source of the Ganges) and thereafter the traverse on Gangotri glacier is involved though technical knowledge of climbing is not necessary. Tapovan and Nandanvan are fields of Himalayan meadows used as base camps by mountaineers for climbing peaks on the Gangotri Glacier. The peaks of magnificent shapes seen such as Shivling, Meru, Bhagirathi Group, Kharachkund, Kedar Dome, etc., around the campsites range above 6,500 mts.

We begin this trek from the east face and ascend to the Holly Ganga gorge where glorious views of the imposing peaks of Gharwal and surveyed in close proximity.The trek goes through Milam valley which was partly the trade route between Kumaon & Tibet. We go through the remotest area of the Himalayas to have the breath taking scenery of the region.

Darjeeling - Phalut - Sandakphu |

It is an easy circular trek starting from Darjeeling and ending at Darjeeling. Before starting the trek you must rise before dawn and watch sunrise as the sun swings round the tips of Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga the colours change from yellow to orange or pink. This is one of the world's great experiences.
Start trekking through forested hill sides and enjoy costant views of the great peaks to the north and the hill sides covered in alpine flowers and rohdodendorns. Return to Darjeeling via Sandakphu, the highest point of the trek providing stunning views of the mighty Kanchenjunga range. Sandakphu is also connected by hill road and you can return by road as this will reduce trekking by two days.

Sikkim - Dzongri Trek Over Goecha - La |

The drive from Gangtok to Pemayangtse is on winding road constantly climbing and dropping in constant view of Kanchenjunga and many other Himalayan peaks. The Pemayangtse monastery is second oldest in Sikkim . The trek passes through the thick forest and small fields dotted with small dewellings upto Yuksom, a small village.Crossing thick forests you reach Dzongri, from here you trek towards base Kanchenjunga through high pastures and the view improves with every step.Return is by the same route as the apporach through fields and houses inhabiting mostly Nepalese. |
